BCP Council promised us a residents' discount card: I want them to deliver

Nearly a year ago, the Liberal Democrats got a mandate to run BCP Council. During the election period, they promised to bring forward a residents' discount card.

They heralded this promise subsequently in literature, where they have said: 'We'll introduce a residents card to bring benefits to people who live in BCP'.

One of those benefits was going to be periods of free parking.

I think it's a great idea. Getting people back into our town centre is a vital part of the work to build Bournemouth back.

I will back it. However, It's been almost a year since those elections. It's time that the card is introduced.

So my message to BCP council is simple: let's get on with it. Deliver on your promise and help us build Bournemouth back.
