SEND CONOR BACK TO PARLIAMENT
A message from The Rt. Hon. Michael Gove, Secretary of State for Levelling up, Housing and Communities:
I visited Bournemouth yesterday. Not because Conor asked me to, but because I’ve seen myself how hard he works for Bournemouth West.
In Parliament, he is a local champion like no other.
When I was Education Secretary, he lobbied me relentlessly for a rebuild of Bourne Academy.
I granted it in 2012, leading to a £10.5 million transformation of Bourne’s campus.
Conor then went further, securing rebuilds of St. Aldhelm’s and now, the £25m transformation of Oak Academy.
Then, as Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Conor put his Build Bournemouth Back campaign on my radar immediately.
He invited me to address Bournemouth’s inaugural Town Centre Summit. He brought LibDem Council Leader Vikki Slade to my Department in Whitehall to lay out their cross-party working. I have also followed the work of Conor’s Town Centre Taskforce closely.
HELP RE-ELECT CONOR
Conor has taken your priorities to the heart of Government for over a decade.
He's the only candidate in this election who actually believes in Bournemouth's future. The only one prepared to work cross-party to make sure the town centre gets the new lease of life it needs.
And that's why I'm backing Conor’s brilliant work for Bournemouth. I hope you can give him your support on 4th July.
Michael Gove
