It has been a difficult time for charities so when Crumbs opened again, Conor a patron of the charity visited to hear about the challenges the project had been facing and their plans for the way forward after taking time to reflect and return to their roots. Ursula Bordman the Training and Development Manager and Professor Peter Jones the Chair of Crumbs explained how the focus was once again on training and Conor was keen to learn how he could give support the potential for further developments and funding.
Crumbs trainees are all adults with a range of learning or mental health disabilities who follow a two year training programme that includes transition to work and work placement opportunities.
The aim of Crumbs is to support trainees to enable them to gain employment and live independently.
