Conor gave his support to Armed Forces Day. He said " One of the most humbling things I’ve had the chance to do as a Member of Parliament is meet and get to know some of the last veterans of the Second World War. Sadly they are now almost all gone but that somehow brings their courage and sacrifice into sharper focus. As we remember D-Day on June the 6th and Armed forces day the 26th, we remember and thank all our Service men and women, past and present for everything that they do.”
