Conor has welcomed the fall in the number of COVID-19 patients in hospitals across BCP and Dorset, which the NHS reports has fallen from 145 a fortnight ago to 88 as at 8 December. This reflects the falling rate of new confirmed cases across the county, which are amongst the lowest in England. On the basis of that much-improved situation, he has written to the Secretary of State for Health to urge the Government to agree to move Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and Dorset into Tier 1 at the imminent review. He has however also urged his constituents to continue to follow Government regulations and restrictions, to keep rates low.
