Wessex Water was highlighted as the only water and sewerage company in the UK that offers overflow discharge alerts throughout the year, informing organizations like Surfers Against Sewage of such events. Moreover, the company disclosed their commitment to investing £3 million monthly on storm overflows, focusing first on those that have the highest discharge frequency or environmental impact.
