Conor took the winning and runner up teams of the Bournemouth School’s Industrial Challenge to the Houses of Parliament to receive certificates and explain their winning projects to the Business Secretary of State, Rt Hon Greg Clark MP.
St Peter’s (winners) and Bournemouth School for Girls (runners up) took part in a tour of the Houses of Parliament, had the opportunity to ask Conor questions about being an MP and on-going political issues followed by a presentation on the Terrace of the House of Commons with the Secretary of State.
The day represented the last segment of the Bournemouth Schools Industrial Challenge, in which local secondary schools competed to create the most innovative concepts in Industrial Strategy.
