Conor wrote to the Head of Public Affairs at the Post Office to request that a replacement branch be found as soon as possible after the closure of the Post Office at McColls Shop on Herbert Avenue, Alderney on 12th April due to the retirement of the postmaster.
The Post Office have replied saying that they are looking for a permanent solution and are totally committed to see Post Office services restored as soon as a new Post Office operator and premises are found.
Conor also visited the Post Office before it closed to meet with staff.
