When we talk about Government spending, we use big numbers that are hard to contextualise. Yet in Bournemouth and Poole, we get to see the material impact of the Government's £250m investment in our local NHS, through:
- the B.E.A.C.H Building at Royal Bournemouth Hospital (for Births, Emergency, Children's Health)🏥
- eight new 'barn' theatres in Poole🩺
- And many more new facilities. This is the biggest NHS investment in Dorset's history💵
Having seen this money become of tangible benefit on my recent visit to Poole Hospital, I was able to shoot down Labour's hollow claims in the Chamber.
