Northern Ireland
Born in Belfast in 1972, Conor was brought up in north Belfast attending Park Lodge School on the Antrim Road. On his appointment as Minister of State for Northern Ireland he became only the second Minister in 50 years from the Northern Ireland to serve in the Northern Ireland Office.
During his time as Minister Conor:
Led on the NIO’s economic agenda including regional growth, Levelling Up and City Deals
- Engaged with business to identify improvements to the operation of the Northern Ireland Protocol
- Dealt with delegated security and intelligence matters
Conor on his work with Northern Ireland’s young people.
