Conor was invited to visit JP Morgan’s Bournemouth campus at Chaseside. The purpose of the visit was to look at the ways in which the bank have integrated itself into the local community and to view the new developments that have recently taken place on the campus.
Whilst not in the constituency of Bournemouth West, JP Morgan is Dorset’s largest employer, with great numbers of employees residing in the constituency. This meant that Conor’s visit focused significantly on new and existing employment opportunities at JP Morgan, including internships and apprenticeships.
Speaking with a number of different staff members ranging from apprentices to managing directors, Conor was given the opportunity by the bank to gain a full understanding of the integral role that JP Morgan plays for Bournemouth’s economy for employment and local investment.
