Conor welcomed Rt Hon George Eustice MP, Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries & Food to Bournemouth University. Conor invited Mr Eustice to BU whilst the Minister was in Dorset on other business. Conor saw this as an opportunity to bring the University to his attention and put forward the substantial role BU has played in research on issues within Mr Eustice’s Ministerial Portfolio.
Whilst visiting, George and Conor took part in a group discussion with BU’s professors and students in marine biology and ecology. Those individuals included Professor Rob Britton, Professor Richard Stillman, Professor Rick Stafford, Dr Roger Herbert and Tilak Ginige.
