Conor attended the St Mungos’ Everyone Deserves a Home for Good event in Parliament recently. St Mungos’ outreach teams go out each night to meet people who are homeless and to help them off the streets. The charity is one of the largest providers of outreach services in the country. Each night they offer a bed and support to more than 2,800 people across the south and south west and in Bournemouth work hand in hand with Bournemouth Borough Council to prevent homelessness and support people at every step of their recovery from homelessness.
Conor said, “I am committed to doing everything I can to assist the numerous charities in this sector to work in ever closer unity to maximise the best use of resources and was delighted recently to be involved in launching Street Support Bournemouth Poole and Christchurch, a one stop website where needs can be met by the many charity volunteers and charity professionals.”
