Conor served as the United Kingdom’s Envoy to the United States of America.  Most recently he was the United Kingdom’s Envoy for Trade and Investment. He was first appointed as the Special Envoy on the Northern Ireland Protocol in 2019.

In these positions Conor

• Led the UK’s negotiations for the State-level Memoranda of Understanding on Trade and Investment
• Successfully concluded agreements with the States of Texas and Florida
• Welcomed the Governor of Texas to London to sign the UK-Texas Statement of Mutual Co-operation
• Was trusted to meet with senior leaders in both parties to talk about the UK’s positions
• Made countless media appearances to promote UK interests
• Collaborated with senior business leaders in UK and US to improve UK-US trade and investment.
